The Te Whare Rama Edinburgh St kindergarten is a hidden gem and offers something special: a large, grassy, natural outdoor area with a whare and pā, vegetable gardens and trees where children can explore. Children are involved in planting and harvesting our vegetable gardens.

We are licensed for 30 children aged 2-6 years.

It is important to us that children feel a sense of belonging with us and we offer meaningful opportunities for leadership and decision-making. We work closely with our feeder schools to support easy transitions.

The kindergarten's environment has fabulous indoor/outdoor flow with many opportunities to explore.

Te ao Māori and meaningful use of te reo me ngā tikanga Māori are integrated into the programme.

Respectful and sustainable practices are prioritised and strong links with schools are established.
