Indoor / outdoor flow, large playground and community gardens
Our Cobham Street site opened in 2004 and is licensed for 24 children aged 2- 6 years. Our entrance is through the carpark for our Lyttelton St site at 239 Lyttelton Street.
Large play spaces that flow easily from inside to outside and are well-resourced, safe and warm ensure a journey of discovery for your child. We have a covered verandah with a sandpit and offer a wide range of learning experiences.
Respectful practices alongside a focus on fostering social skills encourage independence and confidence for our children. We provide activities to challenge and extend.
Kaupapa Māori and meaningful use of te reo me ngā tikanga are integrated throughout the learning programme. Children are involved in planting and harvesting our community gardens.
Strong links with local schools are established and contribute to a smooth transition. Come and see our community vegetable gardens and share in the harvest - the children look after these.
